What is MLS Draft Fantasy?

MLS Draft Fantasy is an alternative to salary-cap fantasy soccer. Every real MLS player can belong to only one manager in your league, so squads are genuinely different and every draft pick, waiver claim and trade matters.

You can:

  1. Create or join a private league with friends.
  2. Choose a snake draft or an auction draft.
  3. Draft a unique squad of MLS players in a live draft room.
  4. Compete head-to-head throughout the 2026 MLS season.
  5. Improve your squad through waivers, free agents and trades.

Snake drafts and auction drafts

In a snake draft, managers pick in a reversing order each round. If you pick last in one round, you pick first in the next. It is quick to understand and works well for new leagues.

In an auction draft, every manager starts with a budget and bids for players. Auctions offer more flexibility: any manager can target any player, but spending heavily on one star leaves less money for the rest of the squad.

Both formats produce the part that makes Draft Fantasy different: no duplicated players and no template teams.
