This Privacy Policy explains how Draft Fantasy Inc. ("Draft Fantasy", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use Draft Fantasy websites, mobile applications, games, and related services (the "Services").

Information we collect

We collect information that is necessary to provide and improve the Services:

  • Account information: your email address, display name, profile details, account identifiers, and authentication records. Authentication credentials are processed by our authentication provider; we do not receive your password in readable form.
  • Fantasy-game information: leagues and teams you create or join, team and league names, player selections, lineups, draft actions, transfers, trades, waiver claims, scores, preferences, and other activity needed to operate the game.
  • Purchase information: subscription or purchase status, transaction identifiers, and related customer-service information. Payment-card details are processed by our payment provider and are not stored by Draft Fantasy.
  • Communications: messages and information you send when you contact support, respond to surveys, or subscribe to service or marketing emails.
  • Device and usage information: browser and device type, operating system, IP address, app version, pages or features used, referral information, cookies or similar storage, and diagnostic or performance information.
  • Notification information: notification preferences and, when you enable push notifications, the token or subscription details needed to deliver them.

We receive this information from you, from your use of the Services, and from service providers that help us operate the Services.

How we use information

We use information to:

  • create and secure your account;
  • run leagues, drafts, teams, scoring, transfers, notifications, and other game features;
  • process purchases and provide paid features;
  • provide support and send service-related communications;
  • send marketing communications when permitted, which you can unsubscribe from at any time;
  • understand usage, diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve the Services;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed with:

  • service providers that supply hosting, databases, authentication, payments, analytics, email, notifications, monitoring, and customer support;
  • other league members where information such as your display name, team, picks, transfers, trades, and scores is part of the shared game experience;
  • professional advisers, regulators, courts, or law-enforcement authorities when required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety;
  • a buyer or successor if Draft Fantasy is involved in a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.

Our principal service providers include Supabase for authentication and data infrastructure, Stripe for payments, PostHog and Vercel for website analytics and performance, and email and notification providers used to deliver communications. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments.

Cookies and similar technologies

Our websites use cookies and similar local-storage technologies for authentication, security, preferences, analytics, and performance. You can control cookies through your browser, although blocking essential storage may prevent parts of the Services from working.

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services. We may retain limited records after account deletion when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, financial reporting, dispute resolution, or the integrity of shared league history. Where possible, retained game records are disconnected from your active account or minimized.

Your choices and rights

You can update your profile and notification preferences in the Services. You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in the message.

You can permanently delete your account from the mobile app under More → Account → Delete account, or from your account settings on the website. Instructions and an access-recovery option are available at draftfantasy.com/account-deletion. Account deletion removes your authentication account and profile information; limited records may be retained as described above.

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Contact [email protected] to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before completing it.

International transfers

Draft Fantasy operates internationally. Your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so you should use a unique password and keep your account credentials confidential.

Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and our Terms require account holders to be at least 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the Services or legal requirements. We will publish the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required.
